Kaskala is home to many of the carved stone statues that house the spirits of long-gone tuskarr elders, and that alone makes the invasion of the kvaldir more difficult for them to bear.[2] Following the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard met tuskarr who told them that one day, they'll take Kaskala back; as while they're not a vengeful people, they believe in retribution against those who have killed their kin.[2]
